Trekking
The Val d'Aran is located between the two paths of Great trans-Route, the GR-11, which passes through the Val d'Aran and the GR-10 passing through the French Pyrenees. You can also follow the GR-211, a circular itinerary. In addition there are a number of PR or short distance trails for many excursions adapted to all levels. You can hire mountain guides if you want to be accompanied. For experts there are great routes that you go through peaks above los3.000 m; many of these peaks have dela practice rock climbing. Distributed throughout the Val d'Aran is a network of 14 mountain huts.
BTT- bike tours
There are numerous routes for excursions to suit all levels. In summer the resort of Baqueira-Beret reopen some of its chair lifts and so it's possible declines in bicycle tracks.
Adventure sports
In the Val d'Aran can be practiced most forms of adventure sports when spring comes, the thaw, and throughout the summer. In the Garonne you can enjoy rafting, hydro speed, canyoning, kayaking and canoeing.
You can also practice all forms of climbing, archery and horseback, or Quads.
Horse tours
This is a special way to discover the landscapes of the Val d'Aran, moving in a relaxed way. You can hire accompanying monitors Riding School Val d'Aran in Vielha. You can take courses for loose hours or packages and when you have a little practice can be made more difficult itineraries. Highlight routes to Vielha Vielha Montgarri and the Renclusa (slopes of Aneto).
Hunting and Fishing
They are the oldest activities practiced in the Val d'Aran. They are currently regulated to ensure the survival and sustainability of the environment. It is by getting the necessary licenses and permits.

Spas
Val d'Aran in the waters of the springs are captured at a depth of over 300 m. and emerge at a temperature of about 30 °. To relax you can go to Termas de Les Barony, in the village of Les or Els Banhs of Tredós, located in Ribera d'Aiguamòg, within the periphery of Parc Nacional d'Aigüestores i Estany de Sant Maurici, which is the highest resort in Europe, a1.740 meters above sea level. Another option is to visit the spa town of Bagneres de Luchon, located near the border in southern France.
Pools
Throughout the year you can access the indoor pools in Vielha Palai de Geu and in summer also the municipal swimming pool in Salardu, among others.

Winter sports
In Baqueira Beret, situated in a spectacular setting, you can practice various forms of snow sports. The station has an area of 2,166 ha, more de1.010 mde 155 km altitude and distributed in 103 tracks; therefore has the largest skiable capacity in Spain. You can choose between alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, telemark, backcountry and heli-skiing. For non-skiers or to complete a day's skiing or hiking Mushing sled dogs are a way to enjoy the snow differently. You can also make excursions with snowshoes and snowmobiles.
Guided snowmobile or dogsled
If you want to have experiences beyond the ski slopes, in the Aran Valley, you'll find professionals mejors of mushing and snowmobiling in the Pyrenees.
Ice skating
You can practice in the Palai de Geu, located in a sports complex open all year Vielha. In the same building there are two heated pools, gym, climbing wall and paddle.
